I've visited this hospital several times to see my friends who became patients. Observing the staff that they have, very professional, hard working and seems going beyond at all times. A number of them have displayed great interaction with patients and families. You seldom get this now, person to person treatment. I just hope that the Providence group take care of their employees. At the end of the day, you need great people to run a tight ship!

The experience we had at the hospital was a very positive experience. My Dad needed emergency surgery for a very serious situation and the staff from the ER was very attentive caring and fast to triage and diagnose my Dad. They determined that he needed emergency surgery and took him back right away. The condition my Dad was experiencing was a life or death situation and most people don’t survive it. Thank God we came here to Saint Joseph’s. After the successful surgery my Dad was sent to the ICU and he’s been so well taken care of. The nurses attending to him have been amazing especially Jake. He really has an outstanding bedside manner and he made our family feel welcome and confident that our Dad’s care was in top notch hands. He explained a lot of the process to us and took time to reassure us and let us know how things were going and why certain procedures were taking place. He deserves a raise and a promotion!! The skills he demonstrated should be noted and perhaps he should be considered to train new staff to do the same. We are so grateful to have our Dad be taken care of by Jake and Julia and the whole ICU staff. The ER and Surgeons also deserve Kudos because they all saved our Dad’s life.

My husband was the 100 kidney transplant patient this year ?. Since we began our journey. We have been treated wonderful by all staff 24/7 . His surgery took place on 12/11/2024 got discharged 12/19/2024. Every Dr & specialist are still 100% amazing following up and always making sure we're fine and making sure we are comfortable calling at anytime the holine to ask questions 24/7. This place has made our journey an amazing experience. Beyond greatful!!

My Black Pregnant Daughter was treated by racist nurses that did NOTHING for her but cause her stress and ALOT of pain!! She was in ICU 3 days in ALOT of pain for an infection in her neck and they didn't care. I made a BIG stink about how they were treating my BLACK pregnant daughter and they finally start treating her pain....( Day 3)
She got moved out the ICU yesterday evening and they moved her to room 3207-2 where they put her into a NASTY and Dirty room with a Man!! She started complaining that she didn't want to be in a Dirty room with a man being she just left ICU....( Still with an Infection)...and 19 weeks pregnant. They sat there and ignore her.
When my Daughter decided to leave and go to another hospital, The Charge nurse who claimed to be the HEAD of the Hospital came in all RUDE and disrespectful got in my daughter face being threatening and my Daughter asked her to leave, The Charge Nurse decided she was going to call the police on my Black Pregnant Daughter!! I feel she used the police to try to harm my daughter!!! Because what other reason would she call the cops a black Pregnant Daughter? Thank GOD the cops was like she didn't do anything and wasn't getting violent and that's not what the police is used for. I also feel this hospital lack black staff and has a bunch of racist white women nurses that are uncaring to black patients. Thank you to the 1 black Chaplin Lady that heard my Daughter cry and tired to help. I really don't understand why they didn't call her or inform the Chaplin that my daughter was there although I had complained the Day before how racist the nurses were!! I will be posting their name as soon as I get them.

Great experience during the child birth and nice nurses, there is a lady that goes around and asking about the food she interrupted our friends and family time to tell us about the food and explain the goods about it which isn't needed at the time and ruined the experience of first time visit and to top it off car tires were stolen from their parking structures, 1 star for the security that was working that night, plus they told me its not their first time it has happened. what a joke.

Thursday November 7th, I was admitted to Providence following a medical episode at Universal Studio. I can’t praise the hospital and staff enough. The staff were so friendly, helpful and considerate. The Hospital itself was so clean. I received the best of care, attention and was constantly reassured I would be ok. I had suffered a very bad Vertigo attack. I couldn’t stand up without getting very dizzy, had been vomiting previously and was very scared.
After a variety of tests to make sure there wasn’t any other complications, I was released. I was tired and a little shaken by the Vertigo experience but felt so relieved it wasn’t anything serious.
Thank you to all the staff that assisted me.

The staff are amazing. The hospital itself needs MAJOR updates. Elevators don't work, ac doesn't work, the bed table is so stiff it's hard to move. I honestly don't know how this hospital is still functioning. The cafeteria is in the basement. The own needs to stop the construction in the basement and get to work on updating everything else. Never see a hospital like this.

I gave birth to two of my children at Saint Joseph. Wonderful experience! All my nurses were great! Made me comfortable. I was well taken care of. Regret that my other three children weren't born there.
