I come to this Pinch A Penny weekly. Most recently I had my roof replaced and solar panels tossed. My pool wasn't running properly after the panels were removed and I’ve been unable to filter the pool. After trying to get help from multiple solar companies and pool companies, no one waned to fully listen and understand what the issue was- until Alysa. For two days, Alysa gave me recommendations on what to do, trying multiple things to see what works. She even went as far as FaceTiming me so she can see what was going on and helped with the different trial and error projects she had walked me through. A literal ANGEL she is.
Even though we didn’t get the issue fixed, she figured out exactly what I needed and we scheduled service with ease.
I can’t thank Alysa enough. She was the only person of 5 different companies that truly wanted to help me. Thank you so much, Alysa and thank you John for bringing her on your team. ?

I have only ever had my water tested here and bought some basic pool supplies, but the experience has always been pleasant. Everyone is always polite & helpful. Today, Mason was above and beyond. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Gave me a ton of tips. Great job!

We pay for weekly service. We have had 4 different people come service our pool in 6 weeks. This week, was a no show. But I was emailed a picture of someone else’s pool and said it was completed. We have had missed appointments, with no call, we have had service coming a day late with no call. We have called in and left messages, we emailed and requested a call back, we even went into to the store to speak to someone. He said “they will call you back”. That must be code for “we better ignore them and maybe they will go away”. If this type of service continues we will gladly go away and be ignored.

Tienen mucha variedad en productos y en equipos. Pero considero los precios muy elevados. Especialmente el cloro y los productos para el mantenimiento constante de la piscina. Pienso que ya que son tan indispensables y que se tienen que usar regularmente no deberían de ser tan caros. Aumentaron el doble... Agradecería si tomaran en consideración las necesidades del cliente....

Pinch a penny came out to do work on my pool a few months ago and claimed while there that my in floor cleaning system was beginning to fail. They charged me over $800 to repair. The job they were supposed to do was done badly. I complained but I shouldn't have bothered- they would not come out to see that the job had not been done properly. They just became rude and belligerent. Last week the cleaning system stopped working. I paid a different pool company to fix and they stated it didn't look like anything was done to the system in a long time. They fixed it for $320. So I paid Pinch a penny for 2 jobs but neither was done properly. I'd go back in with my receipt and complain, but I know it will do nothing but frustrate me more. So I've done what I recommend to you- go elsewhere.

Here is an update, after I posted my review pinch a Penny call finally the parts came in and the installation is scheduled for thi's coming Monday at all I never got a call from John Van the owner, thanks Jonathan for reaching out, more updates to come.

I have my pool built at 17504 Cobblestone lane since March 5 2022 by Aqua-Form construction Inc. On April 2 2024, I contacted Pool builder with a concern, pump was making weird noise shortly after that proof of purchase was drop to Pinch a penny store, but before that I already have a few conversation with Jonathan the service guy few videos were send but nothing was done at the time the only day available was May 22 2024 almost a month just to verify that the pump was broken, I stop by the store few times after but no luck with the repair actually the last time Jonathan was very dry to me and a bit rude that my wife even said something about his tone and that was 5-24-2024, is May 30 2024 and not heard from Pinch a Penny to repair my pump, very hard to keep up with maintenance cause having a open hearth surgery make it difficult I also ask Jonathan if they will take care of the water pool after and the answer was nope we only do warrantee, poor service, am hoping that's not the case so they can make thinks right.

Great knowledgeable people that go above and beyond! Our pool is sparkly clean with the weekly service plan. The techs do a wonderful job making sure everything is perfectly clean and balanced. They also make sure to properly secure the property before leaving. Very happy with their service! If you’re thinking of pool service, I highly recommend pinch a penny.
