It says open in Google, so i drove 40 minutes. When i got there, the place was so closed that it looked abandoned!!

Nice change of pace from the usual food stores with a great variety of produce, prepared foods and many grocery items that would be hard to find elsewhere in the Port Charlotte area. Bring your own grocery bags or fork over 10 centavos for one if you don't.

Saw their sign on 776 for fresh produce and I pulled in. It's a kind of grocery store with hot food served in back. I ordered roast pork and a salad sold by the lb. and they have lunch/dinner combos. The food was very good but, their seafood counter was kind of bare....not much in the case. The gentleman helping me was really nice and I will definitely be going back to try some more of their menu. Very good overall but they don't seem that busy...not exactly on the main path. Food was good and worth the money.

Stumbled upon EC as I was headed to a local butcher. Really wanted to like it because I try to shop small and local. Was hit with an awful stench right when I walked in. I continued anyway. Walked by the "fresh" meat cooler which was far from fresh and then headed to the produce side. As I was passing the hot food section, the stench got even worse. Don't know what it was, but it was absolutely rancid smelling. Walked through the fresh produce section and saw nothing but wrinkled, old veggies. I'm very easy to please, but this place was absolutely disgusting. I've never left a bad review but this had to be said. The place should be shut down

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this little store has a variety of products at very decent prices. They have fresh fruit and vegetables. Every day kitchen stock items, salt oil, ect.
A huge variety of frozen meats that you can't find just anywhere.
They also make a variety of hot foods to go.
It is very clean and well organized. I had no idea that it was a fully stocked grocery.
This store is also hiring!

Me and my wife went and wanted to try a new Spanish store out to see if it was going to be authentic. But to my surprise, it was sad to see how much they lack on being fresh for their names being fresh fruit and vegetables. We got a couple of things from there and was very disappointed. Their produce was very rotten we couldn't even get sweet bananas for our dinner we was preparing for. We bought a few sodas and they had no expiration date on them at all, and they was the flattest drink that was supposed to be carbonated. And don't get me started on the "tres leches". I have a picture for everyone to see that I've never tasted such a stale and bad taste tres leches in my entire life, and I've had some bad ones before. Before you step foot into this place, please take a look at the one star reviews, they aren't lying. The owners are taking a bunch of short cuts and don't have dates for anything, I will be reporting them to the BBB because all foods and goods should have expiration dates on them.

Went here to do some shopping. I accidentally broke a jar of olives, they rolled out of the cart. I immediately told them and apologized several times but the woman behind the register seemed annoyed and never acknowledged my apologies. When it was time to ring up my groceries I noticed she charged me twice for something. I brought it to her attention and she corrected it and told me that she didn't charge me for the broke jar, next time I go in i'll have to pay for it. I spent over $90 and she tried to be slick by charging me twice for something. I won't be back.

This was my first time there and I really liked it. When it comes to fruits and veggies it is like most places, you need to check the veggies. And there are times it is really really fresh and other times not. They carry a lot of different and unique things. This is the first place I have ever seen corn husk leaves for tamales and they had dried fish, jams from Amish country, and much more. I will be back.
